KMJ (Pvt) Ltd. Foundations of Chakwal Group of industries were laid in Dhaka, Bangladesh 1965 before the partition. Khawaja Muhammad Yousaf, pioneer of the group, established a PVC shoe manufacturing plant. The shoes manufactured were distributed under the name “saddy”. The venture was a great success and the brand “saddy” was established immediately. After Dakka fall, the family shifted back to Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. The focus was shifted from shoe manufacturing to textiles.
But all these years the group has been involved in making PVC shoes under at Naveed Industry pvt ltd and under the same brand name. Quite recently, we decided to expand the shoe manufacturing business. In order to add variety and flexibility the group decided to invest into EVA raisin manufacturing, EVA shoe manufacturing, and PU shoe Manufacturing.
ProductsThe goal is to make Khawaja M Javed Pvt Ltd (KMJ) a composite shoe manufacturing unit. The facility is located in Lahore and all the products are made in the same vicinity. KMJ is involved in production and sale of the following items.
EVA compound and shoes cater to the lower end of the shoe market. The idea is to make a cheap product, produce it at a mass scale and cater to a bigger audience. Thus the available and trusted suppliers for its machinery are from China. The machinery involved in producing EVA products has been imported from reliable Chinese suppliers. PVC shoes are catered to a little higher end of the market. They are a delicate product compared to EVA shoes and much superior in quality. Thus its machinery has been imported from Europe to produce a good quality product.
